Hi can any one help I have just bought a basket case it's an early mk1 nov 82 but what puzzles me is the standard black exhaust system is marked 11a I know it should be 10w , this is the first yam lc I've worked on but knowing the importance of exhausts on 2 strokes i need to know if this system is ok for this bike can anyone help?

European model type exhaust ,10w real hard to come across now adays mate, mostly 12a stamped on.

i think 11a is a rd80 exhaust mate. could be wrong but rings a bell as such.

Thanks lads I think it is a 80 system but it fits?? I have a 12a I may have a go de restricting it ,is it a big job?

11A-14710 is UK Mk1 RD80 LC Exhaust
Slightly different mounts to the 125 I think as I used to tun a 125 std pipe on my 80. I think it just ends up pointing in a slightly different direction

rd80lc exhaust is totally different to rd125lc exhaust smaller different shape slightly and shorter with no guard fitted.

Mm thanks now I'm even more confused they may have stamped the wrong number on it or it's been chopped and re welded any how thanks for your help.
