Where can I get my pipes rechromed. Understand most companies don't chrome whole exhausts.

Hi, There was a guy on the aircooled forum who could get them done to a very high standard. Cant remember his name but he lived in Kent I think. Ask on there and I'm sure they will point you in the right direction. Dusty  |

hi,as dusty said ask on the aircooled site .also try this guy, bob at chrome restoration services .he did a pair for me which game out pretty good.took 12 weeks though .the inside of the exhausts were so caked up they were soaking in a caustic solution for weeks. crs 02476364004

Hi, usually platers hate exhaust because the crap in them contaminates their chemicals. Clean them inside as much as you can, I use a cleaner called Ac 99 which cleaned a set of exhaust which the platers couldn't get clean. Once clean most platers will Chrome them. HTH
