probably been asked before but advice on best way to store tanks dry or with fuel in cheers budgie

mine is dry stored, I swill a bottle of two stroke oil around the inside every month and seems to be working well

Ive sealed up my spare tank after puttimg some clean engine oil in it, that will prevent any more rot from starting and a heck of a lot cheaper than filling it with fuel..

If it is on the bike I always add a little 2 stroke oil to the fuel

check out the latest edition of cmm .good article on modern petrol check out the steel test in petrol and you can see why tanks don't last.

I was told by Steve Cooper (of VJMC tank cleaning fame) to drain the tank and then spray a tin of GT85 into it.

Mine is on top of the wardrobe but Big Ginger has started jumping up there and nearly had my side panels off 😳
