Ive got a pair kicking about and ive no idea if they will fit easily, but im happy enough to play with spacers etc.
Just wondered if it's been done much before (any pics would be appreciated)

I haven't done it my self but I have seen it done a few times it looks great from the first TZR125 . I have a set in my mums loft I was going to do it years back but never got around to doing it .

Fair enough mate, ive got the wheels too, and im tempted. but i dont want to do it to my matching numbers mk2 so am looking for a new frame to buil a bike into

If you have an RDLC 125 Mk2 (which should have 33 mm forks if I remember correct) then TZR 125 front wheel will drop in with NO mods whatsoever. I'm fairly sure the rear wheel shall fit aswell, but you will obviously have to fiddle with the caliper hanger, make some sort of mount or something for it. The rear brake master cylinder bracket can be bolted on if using a bracket that sits between the frame and footrest hanger (I'm not sure if it works on a 125, but it does on 350's), otherwise just weld on a pair of frame lugs for the m/c. If you want to get the frame back to original, just cut them off. It's not the end of the world. All in all it should be a very simple conversion.

Oh I didn't know that. Isn't it possible to use an RD Mk3 rotor though?

ive got a set of 3 spokes mounted on my rd125 cafe race project. cant say ive had a problem with the caliper and disk. just straight onto the original mounts
