This has been a topic ive thought about a lot off and on over the years.
My original 125LC at 17 had a large can allspeed, which was rotten even then, so i bought a brand new 'micron power' one from the local stealers. I somehow never liked the noise from the micron as much.
Last exhaust i had on a road legal 125LC was a swiss model full power genuine yamaha one, which did go well but sounded totally boring.
I just wondered what everyone else thought sounded/performed best?

depends what you want. sound/power/looks/originality for me its the following sound allspeed looks and power micron originality standard or if you want the muttsnutts call Kenny at TSA. not had any reports of 125's with his pipes, but every one that has them for other bikes say they are the bizz I personally run a standard 1gu pipe with a custom can not hear it yet as the can is new and bikes in bits but sounded good and ran well with the "old" custom can on it

As a teenager the Simonini sounded best for me, it started out fairly soft then used to suddenly burst into a loud rasp not far from the original power band. Today I prefer the sound of the original pipes, in order to hear some engine noise. The Allspeeds Ive heard just make the whole bike sound loud and clattery. The LCs have their own sound, so I like to keep a balance.
Here's my MK1 with MK3 pipe. The baffle is modded then dampened around the outside, the smaller restricter piece has been left in the front pipe for lower down torque. For extra performance, I've found mildly sorted barrel and head make a bigger difference than any pipe.

Interesting replies folks, and a vid is always a good demonstartion. Im leaning towards allspeed at the minute, just for nostalgia back to my first little LC. Now i just have to find a good one
