Anybody know if the gear selector shaft is the same on mk1/2 and mk3 motors? A few on ebay but don't specify year.

I think thy are the same. But I once bought one of ebay turned out it was from a dt125lc fitted fine into the engine never noticed any problem until I put the motor back into the frame and fitted the fly wheel cover, Could not fit the gear change lever as the shaft was to short.

Ha ha no way,same here. Came as rd but defo doesn't fit. Just noticed Norbo's got em for sale so probably the safest bet.
