Could anybody tell me what size the main jet should be in a mk 1 10w. Also having a exhaust made, allspeed type, would I need to change the jetting or not, if so what size? Cheers Paul

Mk1 10w main jet is 155 standard, If the exhaust you are having made is a Gibson all speed it will run fine on the 155 Though I would take it up to 160 and do a plug chop to see how its running. Nice bike.

Thanks for that mate, its got a 155 in it, just wasn't sure what the correct size was. Yeh Gibson is making the exhaust, Where would be the best place to get hold of 160 jet, all this two stroke stuff is new to me.

As a rule Gibson/Allspeed pipes don't require a re-jet but it's always better to be safe than sorry.
Mine runs a Micron pipe with a modified end can (shorter with no stinger) and a Pipercross filter element in a standard airbox and I run a 170 and that's perfect.
I would only ever use genuine jets. I get all mine from Allens Performance normally.

Like I said, Gibson/Allspeeds don't require re-jetting if everything else is standard, but it won't hurt to go up a couple of sizes on the mains and see how it runs and also what colour the plugs run.
If you don't know what a plug chop is, search for "how to perform a plug chop" in google
