jetting for a ported motor

I will admit this is for my AR125 that I am building but thought it best to put the question here being that I expect most on here may have done this.

I have just had the barrel ported/transfers done and head skimmed. Now a friend has exactly the same running on 220 jets but he has a larger carb. Simple question really with me using a stnadard carb would I need to jet higher or lower?. or is it simple..... I am thinking higher as the larger carb gets more fuel in but may be talking crap....and advice would be appreciated.....

I would say bigger . when we did the 125 years back we always up jeted . I fitted a 350lc choke carb to a bike and just left the standard jets in it came with and it ran sweet and they run a 220
