I suppose it comes down to what standard your after in a bike, and it looks to be a beauty, but the shame of it is when some people pay that amount of money for a classic bike it disappears into storage so that it wont depreciate in value and so that profit can be made from it later on in time. The knock on effect of individuals commanding premium prices for these bikes is that what happens is parts start to command premium prices. I love 2ts and I personally get goosebumps when I see, hear and smell one theres no other type of bike that does that, but in recent years the price hikes have stunned me and although it seems to be levelling out at the moment I do wonder how long it will be before there is another price spike?, and how long before the working man wont beable to afford these wonderous machines?

Yes I agree Although personally I use mine in summer Way I c it yes it stands me at nearly 3G but that's how much most new 125s are Mine wil not depreshiate unlike let's say cbr125 A lot more fun 2 ride 2 Pple say wish I could go bk in time and keep (store away) Y wen yes few grand more naw but not much more than buying new 125 naw Saying that an unused 1 I can imagine bein more like 5g : (

"I've been watching eBay for 12 years and this will be the best example ever listed this bike" bit.ly/18QRQ4R
They are turning up just as good if not better. There's a guy on here with a Red one only 26 miles. Ive got a White 10W with 220kms, Red 46W with 3,000 kms, those are virtually new bikes on original Dunlop tyres. There's another photo on here showing a White one at a club meeting low miler on factory tyres. Theres also 2 new 0 mile 125LCS in N.Ireland and 1 at Padgett's.
Restoration costs are well over £2k now thanks to Yamaha's recent parts price increases. Which was partly due to the strong Yen and their earthquake.
