Hi, Have just purchased a 1984 mk1 RD125lc which is a swiss import. Frame/Engine no is 46w 000305. Can anyone help with how the spec differs from other models? It is black with red decals. It doesn`t have a belly pan (does anyone have one for sale?) and also has a rear rack type grab rail Thanks,

Clocks, tank decals, has u say grab rail and also check headlight Interesting though my engine frame numbers are very low 000200 Swiss mk1 bike 2 but mines 10w over 20bhp Not sure if 46w was restricted or even an 80 cc some1 will come along shortly

As for spec, all of the MK1s are nearly the same based on the 10W but restricted for different countries (stamped accordingly) and a few superseded odd bits for the 1984 manufactured bikes.
The 46W is 17HP, restricted by the flange in the exhaust only (the pipe should be stamped 46W as well and unlike 10W has a removable baffle) It came with the superseded bits on the carb, float bowl, drain screw, black slide. They also seem to have stanchions manufactured without the grooves on the top. A couple of superseded olive green bolts. pretty much same bike as the 84 UK 12As but with a 10W carb.
Swiss bikes differed with one piece stem mirrors, return stub and spring on side stand and longer rear reflector piece riveted to rear mudguard. All non UK bikes had steering lock on the frame.
I've got a Red one for sale so original it rides like new if you know anyone, so good I had it repainted and now looking for £2k . I can do a grab rail and bolts, grommets for £30
cheers Michael
Edit: I think there was only 500 made.
