Hi, just rebuilt a 125 engine and its pretty easy. Warm up tge crankcases to fit the bearings. If you follow the instructions in the manual you cant go far wrong. Rob

Hi, i always stick bearings in my jacket and crankshaft in freezer, then fit bearings on crank and let cool off Put again in freezer and warm up crankcase with flame torch, crank will go in easy. Then fit gasket and do same with other case, put all together and let cool down In the end i fit the seals Good luck with it

don't know about the 80 engine but the 125 engine the crank needs to be pulled through the left hand bearing.there should be some threaded holes in the crank case on that side.i got some threaded bar and a piece of flat steel and made a puller to draw the crank through.eddies way to do the job sounds ok.over the years I have made various pullers to do certain jobs and got a ten ton bench press to put the bearings in the cases makes life / job easy.
