Hi all. just started rebuilding an '89 F2. The dog legs - the shaft going through the swing arm - are different in length by about the width of the seal. It means that on one side I can't tighten the bolt and washer up to the s/arm. Doesn't seem right or am I missing something! Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you put the spacers behind the grease cups on the swing arm pivot. Sometimes they do look too long

When the dogbone nuts are tight, you should have a small gap between the large washer and the side of the swingarm. If you don't, it probably means one of the seals isn't pushed in fully.
