Up until recently I really thought that it didn't matter what type of anti freeze we used on these bikes, but I looked into it deeper. Modern long life antifreeze is good stuff but it goes off pretty quick in systems that are open to the air, where as the old blue stuff is much better in systems that are open to the air.

Evans Waterless coolants seem to get good reviews. No chance of any corrosion and claimed improved bhp and mpg. not used myself but probably will from now on as they never need to be replaced.

I haven't seen that stuff but when using standard antifreeze its always better to use it with de-min water which is available in many places and only cheap.

Ermm..Jay Leno has turned into a Massive and unabashed shill for an ever expanding range of 'iffy' product. Hunt up some of his other 'winners' .. lots to choose from. Clearly he wants even more $$.
PS there have been a few reports that distilled water may exacerbate alloy degradation. Something about 'empty' distilled water refilling itself with ions (?) leached from the ali.

You can buy it from eBay. You have to buy the prep as well. Works out about £15 a litre once you've bought the prep.
Lots of people will say different things about it and personally I've not yet used it but I will in the future. Heard good reviews and the science of it works if you look into it. Factory racing teams using it is a good sign to me.
I don't really know much about this Jay Leno bloke but in the video he keeps on going on about how expensive it is. If he were in it for making loads of money then I doubt he would. Also from his car collection I doubt the money from a low budget non TV YouTube video like that would make a huge difference to his bank balance but hey ho.

It must take some of you a week to decide which finger is scientifically best to pick your nose with lol. Anti freeze and water is what mines getting half and half. I'm at a loss to work out which bits of your cooling system you think is going to rust if you don't use special expensive modern coolant . Am I missing something cos I have alloy barrels, rubber pipes and a rad, which mint cost 25 quid which I doubt I will ever need to replace if I kept the bike 30 year.
