I have got a pair of Derbi GPR125RR wheels and looking at fitting them in an LC..... Just noticed that the back wheel has no cush drive....sprocket bolts straight on. Would it take 50hp without breaking?

I would have thought it should be ok as many off road bikes don't have cush drive

My race bike has a 250 back whell that's the same set up and puts out almost 60BHP at the back wheel .

Chain & sprockets would have an easier life with a cush drive too ..

Which would be a genuine problem IF maintenance was done every 50K miles. But given that these bikes typically get rebuilt erm.. regularly, if not annually. Not really a major worry.

Sounds like worth giving them a go then... :-)
Thanks for your input.
