How much, and how hard would it be to get the parts required you would probably be cheaper buying a complete one

Yes, yes but it could be running within an hour!
Despite the fact it's got no loom, pipes, throttle, cables, rad and God knows what else!

He may as well "not sell it" for 1299 now if he "couldn't sell it" for 999 originally You never know on ebay - its timing..............

He'll get the asking price eventually, I'm sure.
WTF is every incomplete bike on eBay listed as a 'barn find' these days??

mine cost me £525 to buy in the first place from a friend who raced it & it now owes me £850 in total so that makes that a bit pricy for just a rolling chassis as muttsnutts pointed out it was cheaper before , he's havin a laugh

Might be mind games.
If you ask 999 you will get offers around 700
Probably thinks he will get a higher offer if the asking price is higher

He only has it listed as 'buy it now' at £1500, so no 'make me an offer'. Its madness. Maybe thinks some wife looking for a xmas project pressie to keep hubby in garage across winter!

Another chancer trying to flog a project that is going to cost him too much to finish.... All the hard work is done, hmm mm finding a tank and bodywork might be harder
If my rebuild ever gets to that stage and is only an hour from running then I will buy the whole forum a beer.

they're only watching to see who's mad enough to part with their hard earned then there will be barn finds for inflated prices as far as the eye can see
