Im pretty sure its a mikuni vm28ss round slide carb and was the same as used on the very early DT125R models from the late 80s as well as the DT125lc models from mid- late 80's.
I've just removed one from my brothers 1989 DT125R. I can get you photos tomorrow morning if my shed is still there ( south of england and these storms are coming).
£40 delivered sound a fair price?

Its A VM24SS off of the first unrestricted RD125LC 10W. It should be stamped 10W00 on the right hand side. Good luck with finding one and if you do find one you will need a lot of cash

I wouldn't be too fussed about a 10W carb specifically. Some people claim it's the only carb that will give full power but that's not the case.
Any 12A, 10W or 11Y carb that's jetted correctly (and working as it should) will give the same performance.
I have a couple of 10W carbs here but I run an 11Y carb on mine as it runs best with that.
