Anyone know if it's possible to drive an RD125 LC (or YPVS) engine without the balance shaft, and not get too much vibrations?
And/or if you can re-balance the crank to compensate the loss of the balance shaft?
Reason I ask is because I'd love to get the most out of the engine, and surely the balancing shaft must be sucking up quite a bit of engine power that could otherwise go to the rear wheel.
