Is it worth sending them to an 'auto electrician' to have them tested & repaired?
To my untrained eye a PV controller has a removable cover & is a collection of resistors/chips/diodes etc & assuming the circuit boards are ok should be repairable.
What replacement options are there (genuine Yamaha/pattern/Zeeltronic/other) & at what cost?
As a side, I note a guy in Greece is offering a service (via Ebay) to convert a PV controller to programmable.
