Have got R1 callipers and standard LC2 master cylinder..been trying to bleed up for 2 hours..all air is out..pistons fluctuate slightly but just wont push pads out..getting really pissed off now..any ideas??

Have you tried pushing the oil up from the caliper with a syringe, worked on mine although mine is standard. Might be worth a try Or leave it to stand for a day or two sometimes works. Good luck.

might be your master cylinder, sounds like its either got air trapped or is not travelling enough to bleed properly.

Lever cable tied to the bar overnight has helped me in the past..or as MN says, id be looking at rebuilding the MC.

could be the m/cylinder ratio is wrong for the new calipers.

Have just got bled up working perfect..had to strip master cylinder and found the rubber seal had twisted on top of spring..is this common??

dave ,glad to hear you have got it sorted out .cant say have heard of a twisted seal. have seen damaged seals and damaged cylinders.
