Received a good tip off about "an old Yamaha for parts" that was sitting in a Yamaha dealer's basement, leading to an 18 Hour round trip (and its not in the uk yet
)They took it in p/x years ago with the stripped motor in a box, they sold the tank and clip-on bar which I imagine were like new, then shoved it down in the basement.
The one it replaces in my collection, is now for sale on these boards >
I will probably use a donor engine to get her running quickly, then take her back to uk for papers and showing off.
