Hi, just been servicing the forks on my 350lc 4LO. The haynes manual says 140 ml of oil and 195 mm below the top of the stanchion. When I drained the forks there was 250 ml in each side, and it took about that much back in to reach 195 mm from the top of the stanchion when fully extended with the spring in.
Anyone know for sure how much fork oil should go in and a good way of setting the level? Also thinking of getting stanchions rechromed any recommendations for a supplier, seen lots of adverts from pitted forks.
Cheers
Rick

OEB FFS does this apply to the YPVS too?
