hi im currently changing the engine in my mk2 125 lc i bought a mark 1 Swedish import swapped the engine's over and now realized that the connectors running from the stator are different the connector on the import bike has 4 holes and on my mk2 only has 3 slots is there something i can do without changing the whole loom over?

Could be a problem, as the mk2 has a different cdi,stator,rectifier ect. Also all the clock and ignition wires are different.

is there anything i can do to the stator so it will work? that's the only thing i'm worried about the rest should be ok

you will need a mk1 stator and flywheel. or put the mk2 one from your other engine in

Agree - use your old stator. Send to Westcountry Windings for testing / repair if necessary first.

I fitted a mark 2 engine in my mark1 25 years ago. Can't tell you what to do but if you get a mark 2 & mark 1 wiring diagram you should be able to work it out.
