Nice find I had a new one in red in 84 and it got written off after 5 days. Ive got a low mile one now, but not that low! Whats with the chrome bars?

That's how the bike came from Yamaha... It started life on stage as part of a magic trick and since then it just went in to storage, when they dropped it whilst moving it! I brought it home...

Very , very smart...chap nea rme has one with 1,000 miles on it, he had it MOTd recently and they told him the OE tyres where now cracking on the sidewalls!
Best check them..
This magic trick, tell us more, not Paul Daniels was it?!

Yes I have one tyre that is corroded badly so that will be getting replaced and the other is going to be checked by a professional... Ha ha yes the original owner was Paul Daniels, he used it early 80's in a trick where by it ridden round the stage and into a cage, still complete with rider. The cage floated into the air and in mid air the bike vanished and the engine stopped instantly too, not the usual bubbled cut out of an engine.

lol need a video. Keep the original tyres as a souvenir! or better still, buy some of my nice original wheels to use as 'runners'

That's what I have done with mine. Kept the original wheels for posterity and got some new ones for runners. Lovely bike there. If you you ever get tired of it then my best pal would wet himself for that :-)
