hi,
i am wanting to put a big can allspeed on my wifes bike with running a 1gu card 26mm. manin jet 200
do i need to up it and change needle height for the allspeed?

I would try it with the 200 main and do a plug chop if it looks to weak put a 210 jet in. I have run allspeeds with 200 main jet before with no problems.

I forgot to reply to your other thread, whats the mixture been like with the 200 in with both your standard pipe configurations? as 190 is standard. You can start with the 200 for the allspeed. Bloke on other forum still uses the 190 with the new allspeeds.

195 main jet is standard and for the 10w carb is 155 main

My mistake, my 1GU has a 190 put in by a dealer, which never surprised me as everyone Ive had ran rich, this 190 runs the perfect plug colour.
10W carb can't be used on there, as the ypvs uses the 26mm carb, 10W is 24mm.
Edit: Just checked my box and got several 1GU carbs with 190 main

Hi Ive got a Mk3 RD125LC with a small can allspeed, (did have a large can allspeed same jetting) im running it with a 2RH tzr125 carb, 25 pilot jet, 180 main, needle lowered by 1 notch to clean up the midrange, I did try 190 and a 200 but this was too rich, jetted it down to tzr standard jet size 180 it went tons better, and the plug was just the right colour, ive got a new float needle valve and measured the float height 21mm without gasket fitted, starts first kick, only needs choke on cold days, it has a pinned open fixed powervalve, 15t front 45 r 14.5st rider, hytec reeds and it pulls well through all the gears.

thanks guys,
i have checked the plug and its tan brown to dark on the other side. i guess its running fine?
the allspeed is now on and a waits a road test.
i might take it up to a 210 to see how it goes.i dont want it to run weak.
does that sound a good thing to do. ?
