are boyesen reeds still available? and where from? are these the best still? i sure they used to make a difference. or are there better reed block i can fit?

Hi Mate, I think I answered this on the other forum. A bloke called midnite fitted the V force and bought them from here, rdlc crazy shop, so Norbo himself would be the best advice on those.
My long term experience with the fiber reeds, is that they warp open and cause starting problems.
Personally I wouldn't go bolting on any mods until you've got the optimum from the standard setup. You could end up frustrated and disappointed. I mentioned on your other thread, check the exhaust for the later noise restrictions and de-coke everything. A top end inspection will only cost you the base gasket, as it comes off with head still attached.
