A mate of mine has a Suzuki GT750 with running issues & I wondered if anyone on here has any ideas, the bike has those horrible carbs with a diaphram on top & I think these may be the problem, he sent them off for ultrasonic cleaning after the bike started "hunting" & when he got them back this problem was gone but when you rev the bike up it picks up quickly but returns back to tickover very slowly, this makes it hard to change gear as it's always revving too much also the R/H exhaust sounds different to the other two, that one you can hear & feel the firing pulses whilst the other two just sound weak & flat. Anyone any ideas where to start. Cheers

Hi nick I remember reading an article on a resto of a kettle where the guy said its crucial to replace the o rings for the butterfly linkages ,,, they sit in the carb bodies next to the choke plunger May be of help apparently they draw air

Never had a problem with diaphragm carbs on anything I have had. Usually they don't open cause the diaphragms are split and should return with the springs.
Are they not liable to the crank seals failing between cylinders which would explain it running well on one.
