Just reached the stage of refurbishing my wheels back to standard. Ive had them chemically dipped and alloy polished the rims etc. Now iam ready to mask up and paint them. Which spray can work best for this job and what lacquer will be best.
Also just had calipers chemically striped as well and advice on paint to use and advice on the finishing touches.

Has anyone else used this paint. Is it petrol resistant. Just wondered how the paint will cope when cleaning chain lube off

Plastikote is always good I find. If you want petrol proof cellulose or 2 pac is better...

Even Cheap rattle can paint copes 'jes fine' with cleaning chain lube off. Brush on works a treat as well. No interminable masking and a satin type brushed paint goes on looking every bit as good as when the wheels were fresh out of the Factory. Try it and see :-)
