I used to use a 10/40 semi syn oil.before someone on here suggested a light gear oil was good , so I use a 75 /90 now witch seems a lot smoother through the gears ,, others have said a good atf fluid works well ,

75/90 GL4 oil is Great. ATF works, but it is hard on the bearings

Just put some Halifords own two stroke wet clutch 10 - 40 oil in @ just over £6 a litre because was going to drop oil after a couple of hundred miles after my engine rebuild and replace will decent stuff. But after 150 miles, no clutch slip and neutral when running, I'm having second thoughts.
