After changing gear box oil I found a little pool of oil on floor which looked like coming from drain plug. Tonight when doing carb work I found pool.again. Looking under bike it looked like oil was dripping from the end of one of those rods/ nut ends. They are 4 in total with nuts in the end not sure where they go etc but one had oil at the end. Dry everywhere else. I have very lightly nipped the nut up but it's already very tight. Where do these go? Are they casing bolts? And could oil get into the bolt holes? Only leaks when ridden and stood after cleaning no leaks...... I am just hoping that it could be petrol that's run down when removing carbs...did find that my fuel tap leaks on 'on'. but thought I would ask..

Im not an expert but dont think so, not from the bolt holes, had a few similar issues with my bike, if its clean gearbox oil, try investigating the casings gaskets/faces first.
The oil soon spreads and collects at these lowest points.

Yes it is possible if the casings have a leek at the joint oil can fined its way down the bolts and out the dripping of the nuts underneath. this is whats happening with my Kwak 750 .

Mine looked like a leak too. Turned out I overfilled it and it was leaking out breather to the bottom and the drain plug
