Hi,
My YPVS front calipers are leaking. As a result, I encountered serious braking issues. What is the best way to solve the problem?
[1] Buy new seals? If so, from whom/where? [2] OR, which other calipers fit/suit the YPVS?
Mine is a N2 and has 83mm eye-to-eye mounting distance on the forks.

Seak kits are still available from Yamaha, that's if the piston seals are leaking.

If you want better calipers, Triumph 4 pots like those from the TT 600 have an 83mm spacing.

Fitted t600 calipers to mine braking a lot better than standard calipers.

Pistons and seal available from Yamaha. Not cheap though, but this is the first job I did! Even if you get triumph calipers, you may end up having to strip them.

I have a couple of queries about fitting Triumph TT600 Brake Calipers to YPVS fork legs. [1] Is the diameter of Triumph Brake Rotor Discs the same as YPVS? If it is not so, I understand from a Tuner that the angle/distance from the fork leg mounting points to the Brake Rotor Discs will not match exactly thereby reducing the contact area of Brake Pads. [2] Is the weight of Triumph Brake Caliper less/equal/more than YPVS Calipers? AS, if the Triumph Calipers are heavier than YPVS, the increased weight in the front fork could create handling issues. Please help.

Got them on my F2 race bike, and a couple of other guys I know use them as well. Had no problems with fit with standard rotors, no handling issues, and work massivly better than the stock ones I had on.
