Road and Dirt Performance in Bradford. I sent my rd125lc barrel to this company 4 weeks ago to have it bored out and now they seem to have vanished? Does anyone know what's going on with them? I'm all the way down in the south west so can't even drive over to see if there is anyone around. They don't answer the phone and the voice mail is full. No response via email and they haven't even reacted to me putting in a PayPal claim. I know I will get my money back but that is no good if they still have my barrel. I only used them after someone on this site recommended them so any info as to what they are up to would be great.

Dave is also going through moving house and we all know how time consuming and stressful that can be, i'm sure you'll get sorted.

Dave is very busy right now with work in his shop so please be patient Dave may be a friend/acquaintance but we are all busy, im sure Mikeley is busy enough without having to chase R&D Performance. No excuse to ignore phone calls or emails from a customer ...an out of office set up on your email or voicemail message to advise your away from the business takes seconds to put in place and a bare minimum, 4 weeks awaiting a response is in-excusable for any business.

I'm absolutely flabbergasted to here that "Dave is busy with his shop" I assumed something like illness or terrible family matters had caused such a delay! Over a month to bore out a 125 barrel is totally unacceptable and at this rate it's going to be 5 weeks or more...

I agree 4 weeks for a re bore is a bit excessive but what must be more frustrating is the lack of contact. If the guy is busy then he should either say that at the time or not take on any more work until he clears the backlog. Its poor customer service to just ignore people and if I ever caught one of our service or sales guys doing it (or anyone in the company for that matter), they would have some serious explaining to do, it's just not professional. Cant you go there and retrieve your barrel and take it elsewhere?

Not really as I'm down in Plymouth. I should have used someone local but thought it would be more convenient to just post the barrel off to Bradford and get it back 3 to 4 days later. I've had a couple contacts with them in the first 2 weeks but every time I've spoke to them they promise it is all complete and about to be posted to me. No contact over the last 2 weeks though. I just assumed he was a one man band and that he must be ill or something. To here that there is no real problem apart from "he's to busy" has really anoid me. I can't be the only one as his voice mail is always full.
