Does anyone have any advise or tips for fitting new decals? Just got my Rd125lc mk3 tank and front nose fairing painted in gloss black and need to fit the stickers. I'm not too worried about the fairing ones but I don't want to mess up the tank. I've been told by a guy I work with to spray the tank with a mixture of warm water and a dash of washing up liquid which will allow me to move the decals into place, and then to ease the water out using a soft flat edge and a hair dryer, but I'm dubious as to whether this will work or mess up my £60's worth of decals? Lol Any advise would be welcome.

They can be a bit of a pain to fit - there is a good guide on the image works site www.bike-stickers.com/homepage.htmGo to the Bike Graphics section and there is a fitting guide on there. They have some Golden rules Do a "dry run" first to plan out how the decal fits Decide which method will work best before you start Make sure you have all your tools to hand Take your time If in doubt, ask before your start. Advice is free, replacement motorcycle stickers cost money.

Thats the way I did mine, also put the decal in warm water first, just to soften it (genuine Yam decal) it went on ok, but the double curve of a fairing is much harder than it looks, and I just started to 'stretch' the decal, when forcing it on with the squeegie I thought it was going to be easy, (but that's just me . If he's done loads, get him to do it, otherwise take your time, and watch stuff on youtube for hints and help.
