Hi
Can't seem to stop the carbs from leaking fuel from the outlet on the bottom of the float bowls , they are both doing it , I have replaced the needle valves with ones from norbo & rechecked the float height . I run the bike out of fuel when I put it away but within a day or so its leaking again , so I'm putting it down to the tap not shutting off properly although the tap was refurbed with seals ,dare I say from yambits ,, I notice its worse the more fuel is in the tank due to the weight I guess ,, so any ideas if this tap is repairable or am I barking up the wrong tree ? Is it the carbs or both ?

Yes mate ' I turn the tap off & let it run untill it runs out of fuel ,, but the tap must pass by the seals as the carbs start dripping again within a couple of days

There is no reason why it should do it with the fuel left ON! Are you sure the bowl drain screws are not passing?

Do you mean as in passing by the fibre washer on the drain screws ? I did think this but looked to be coming from the outlet on the bottom of the bowl , of course I could be wrong ! As you say it shouldn't leak with the fuel left on . Think I will change the drain screw washers first and moniter .

Have you considerd that the fuel tap may have been taken part and put back incorrectly. I had this were the Rev was in play put fuel tap showed on postion.

"Do you mean as in passing by the fibre washer on the drain screws?" Yes, that's what I meant.

If you take the fuel hose off the tap ,, with the tap in the off position you get a drip every few minutes , I think this is enough to refill the bowls in a few days then they start dripping . Arrow may have a point here as (to be honest ) the left bowl started this a while ago but now the other side has started I fear its time to do something about it so it coud be deterioration of the fiber washers leaking across the bowls and dripping from the tube ,
