Anybody have anu ideas if the 6 pin switch can be fitted to the 5 pin female end of the f2 loom as i have bought the wrong one ,is it a case of taking one of the wires out of the block ignition side and adding a bullet to go into the loom ?

Yes should be as simple as that.
Did it on a hybrid.
Also check the wire colours as have seen them eithe mixed up or the black and the black/white reversed.

Glad to help. It was those 2 that were reversed on mine but have had another recently that was different. All seemed to work fine till you switched the park lights on and the pv's rotated.
I think it is either the black or black white that is separate on the later looms. Looks like ithas been to stop water and dirt in the connector shorting them out and stopping the bike running as they are like the kill switch.

Wish this had been posted a few weeks ago as I've just done the opposite. Fitted an F2 ignition switch to an LC2 loom.
Had wondered about the black and black/white wires being different so glad this confirms that I need to swap them.
It's on a project so won't be running to try for a good while yet though.
