just started stripping 31k forks ,done one no prob ,other one is causing me some grief,trying to remove allen bolt from damper rod is proving impossible, ive nearly rung it tried wd40, brute force ,but wont budge am i missing something here,its not anticlockwise to open or summit or is it just welded itself together other one came out no problem.

The bolt is anticlockwise, if the damper rod is turning inside the fork try re assembling the spring etc so the damper rod has force upon it it. If not the i made a simple tool with a t bar and a long piece of rod welded to the t bar the shape of the inside of the damper rod. If the bolt head is seized into the fork leg the you could try some heat on the surrounding area to free it, or a gentle tap with an impact driver or worst case drill the bolt head out too free the damper rod.
