Today i had the pleasure of seeing the only one ever put together by Stan Stephens, lovely looking bike and to be offered to buy it and at the moment not being able to has me in a dilema, should I or not, mint condition rd with the kh500 h1 fitted, truely a one off, gibson pipes.

Yes thats the one, just thought it was something of a one off. More interested because of who done done it rather than what it is, if it was done by Joe Bloggs it would be another special.

Looks great, to be honest! There was a pic of one in Practical Sportsbikes with a 750 H2 motor in it... The guy had to trim the tank to make it fit!!

Now a kettle 750 would have been a true LC Maybe, but a rather lardy arsed one at that.

Check the log book, as looks like an R reg, which would not match an LC. Check frame number is 4L0 or 4L1 and numbers are on log book.....

Still not 100% made my mind up, the current owner has done a few tasteful changes, i've a couple of projects on the go at the moment, one of which taking the ypvs lump out of the rd to put in a mito so i'll have a free rolling chassis to put something interesting in myself, thanks for the comments, a mixed bag and I guess it's a personal choice.

It is a fantastic build but you've gotta remove the letters 'LC'
