Ask Norbo - he may be able to help you. I know he does a DIY kit but it includes all the parts for the conversion.

i think I have a couple of these that are about 1mm too big in diameter - simple to sort if you have access to a belt sander.
pm me if your interested and I'll go look for them.

Or buy a piece of 8mm lexan, a trick cover of Norbo. Draw around the cover on the lexan, jig saw it out job done. LEXAN EXELL*D SHEET 8MM CLEAR 297mm x 210mmA4 on eBay £5

Ive found these, and as I thought there are 2 of them, so one is spare for the postage if anyone wants it.
it needs 1mm taken of the outside diameter of the plastic.

I havent found a problem with the 4mm.... Why do you want thicker? mine uses a rubber gasket so no o rings and has split at all 3 fixing points. just want to make mine a bit tougher. steve

mine has no o-ring either, just a seal of instant gasket - no leaks and no splits.
