Avon Roadriders, In my opinion far superior to Bridgestone's BT45, as they are a modern design and compound, very good grip and longevity.

Avons for me too, the Bridgestones are ok for 5 minutes but wear very quickly and then go off. I'll never use them again, the last pair nearly killed me.

I have Avon's and that's unusual cos I'm a Bridgestone man!! But read the reviews and the look much better too ;-)

Its personal choice, lots of people rate the Bridgestones very highly, like I said I'll never use them again but thats just me.
Frankly I'm amazed how well my LC handles, the Avons are very, very good. They get warm very quickly - although I don't think they'd last too long on a trackday.

I like them both but if i was fitting them new to a bike of mine id go Avon becourse they have a better patten. But both are good tyres but seems the BT's arent getting the reviews they used to .

My rear BT45 has just received an 'advisory' during the MOT. I'm not happy, it's only done just over 2,000 miles.
