stripped a so called rebuilt engine that i took out of the mk1 ( let me down last week) it looked good the seller had spent a lot of time and money on it. repainted covers. vapour blasted cases, new bearings, new clutch plates and cage. and then put the old seals back in and re-used every old gasket along with more silicone sealer than ive ever seen on an engine. cant imagine what he was thinking and im not suprised it let me down. but i wont make that mistake. will put in new seals and gaskets, 3bond to join the cases gonna get the barrel rebored (still on original bore). this engine will be going in my long term build.. then im gonna do one for "project 13" but thats gonna be a fahron 175 :-)
