Just rebuilding my bike after a long time of losing interest, then getting into it again.
Anyway. Once it's rebuilt I want it to be a fast reliable road bike.
I know there will be a few different opinions on this, personal choice etc.
What is the ultimate reliable state of tune for the road?
The engine is a 31k ypvs.
At the moment I will have pwk's with power jet kit fitted, ramair filters, zeeltronic cdi/pv controller(programmable) micron bean can pipes with standard porting, banshee coils.
So who would you have port your engine?
Who's pipes
Which carbs
Reed block spacers. Yes/no?
Etc etc
I want mid range power, good spread of power, not too peaky. Don't want a midrange stutter if I can help it.

Reed block spacers and as for tuner would be mick abbey he also makes pipes so would match the tune to the pipes.

Have a look at the help and advice section. Better mid range have bumped it to the top for you

Change your pipes for Kennys, those microns are crap in low/mid range. Leave everything else as it is and get a few hours on a dyno to sort a YPVS and ignition curve and jetting, though jetting can de done fairly well on the road with plug chops. Get you squish gap closed down to about 1mm and increase compression a little.
