Is it possible to replace the bushes at either end of the rear shock? If it is do you just press them out? What holds them in place? Are they glued in or just pressed in with an interference fit?

I did mine on a 4l0 no problem. They are pressed in but i managed mine in a vice with little difficulty. The hardest part was getting the old ones out, I ended up cutting the rubber part out and then used a hacksaw to put a slot in the outer bit and then split it with a small cold chisel. Once its out then the new one presses in easily.

Hi Norbo, thanks for the info. I have access to a press at work so that's not a problem. How much are your bushes? I only really need the lower one as I'm replacing the shock with a second hand one that has damage to it. Looks like someone tried to drill the pin out and the drill wandered off center. Thanks again, Mike.
