The weather is decent today (it won't be this weekend) and long weekend traffic won't have begun yet so we are going to whizz up and collect the new F2 tonight. It is always nice to bring a new bike home but I have so many now this one is going to force the truck out onto the street. Just can't get 4 bikes and a truck into the garage. This F2 was purchased mostly for my wife to ride and she has never ridden a 2-stroke before so I hope she can learn to love it. Her first motorcycles were an SV650 and a WR250X, both of which are about as different from an RD is as possible to get. It should be an interesting ride home. We are going to ride out and get the bike so she has to sink or swim on this one.

Picking the bike up. My wife preparing to ride a stroker for the first time. What do we ride out to get our new RD? Why another RD of course. Home safe and sound with no problems. I detected some big smiles under her helmet on the way home. With its new stable mates. Three Yamaha's and a Husqvarna surrounded by bike posters. The plan is to put the bike back into its original colours. Canadian red and white like this. The decals have already been ordered and the father in law is an expert car painter so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Well she seems very happy with it so far. In the last couple of days we have ridden about 100 miles. She is still getting used to the power band but seems to be bonding with this bike better than any of the others she has ever ridden. The RD just seems to be one of those bikes that grabs hold of people.
