Hi mate you will need the full ypvs loom including all the control box's and I think the F2 engine has electronic rev counter so that will cause you some grief if you wish to use the 4L0 clock's you will need the ypvs switch gear as well

You can use whatever harness you want - LC or YPVS. I used the LC as I wanted to use LC clocks and switch gear, just less hassle. Rev counter no probs, just fit the LC mechanical one to the YPVS motor. Valve motor under the tank, brackets required on the frame to mount. YPVS control boxes can go in the space were the tool kit goes. Made up some sub harnesses for these, an old chopped up YPVS harness comes in handy. Lots of info in old threads including photos.

Hi, I have done this swap with an F2 into an Lc frame, plus I bought a project bike late last year witha 31k engine in an Lc frame. With the bike I built I used the F2 loom, switch gear and rectifier, although the Lc rectifier can be used with some wiring changes I believe. I wanted to keep the Lc clocks and have sorted the F2 loom to work with the Lc idiot lights, twin horns etc. I have the colours noted down if you need them. I used as much F2 electrical parts as possible to keep it simple, including switchgear, coil, ignition switch etc. There are differing ways of mounting the servo for the powervalves. The latest project bike has them cable tied to the frame . I prefer a proper mount so fabbed this up and got it welded in before powdercoat; Loads of info here on the site so ask away Dusty

Forgot to add, I fitted an Lc2 mechanical tacho drive to the F2 cases which was a doddle. Doing the same this very evening to an F2 engine going into an F2 frame that will be using Lc clocks as I prefer them to standard powervalve items. You will have to split the cases to do it though Dusty
