Matching nos starting 1wt so am I right in thinking this is an n2 ? . 1ua on exhausts.
Top end rebuilt 2 years ago , inc power valve but never been started , been left outside with out a cover on it & no tank !! Engine did turn over although felt tight , so assume will need full strip down again , various parts removed but owner says he has whats missing , would need complete rebuild . All the good bits appear in tact , what do you chaps think its worth ??

I paid £900 12 months ago for an N2 that needed a full rebuild but everything was there and running (you could hear the crank was knackered).
About 6 months ago a mate bought an LC2 for £1200 but very tatty and needing a top end rebuild
Hard to tell without pictures though but I would imagine about £1200 ish maybe a little more but not much. You got to be wondering why was it never started after the rebuild though

Hi, All 3 of mine were bought as projects. This Lc was £800.00, but will owe me nearly £6000.00 when finished This F2 based special was also £800.00, half way through this at the mo; This Lc hybrid was bought last November for £1000.00, and is the best condition of the lot, runs well too; You will need to expect the worst for the engine, and if it is ok then you have had a result. You will still need to strip it to properly check though. If you can get it for the right money then it's worth the risk. The price of each of my bikes meant I was able to buy them in the first place and spend money/do jobs when I could afford it. If they were rebuilt runners with MOT etc, I could never have afforded them. Get some pics if you can and then peeps will give you an idea of it's worth. Dusty

Paid £800 for mine. It was a runner but had seized brakes. 2 years and about a grand later it's nearly back on the road (without painting tank etc)!
Nice bike though and rare.
