Pulling my carbs apart as they aint right so I have had them into the sonic cleaner. I have taken the emulsion tubes out to ensure they are free of crap but I have some questions.
Both these carbs are stamped 1UA 00
First carb is the one with the choke attached to it and the emulsion tube has four holes with no numbers stamped on it and the main jet the numbers are so worn as to be unreadable
Second card has an emulsion tube with two holes in it and 544 stamped on it and the main jet could possibly have the numbers 581 stamped on it but its very faint.
Even though the tubes are clear I want to order new ones but should the two tubes be different?
and does the numbers on the main jet make sense as I will be ordering new ones of these too?
I will also be ordering float needles as one of the carbs keeps occasionally leaking fuel
Or does anyone have an idea what I should be ordering for these carbs?
BTW it wouldn't surprise me that carbs have come from different bikes as the patina is different on each carb (one looks rougher than the other).

I suspect that main jet number isn't 581 but 185 which would sound about right ! - little hint, turn the jet round and read it again !! ;D the emulsion tubes should be identical, but I couldn't tell you waht they should be, 4 holes would sound right for Mikuni's Someone on here will know for sure
