Anyone know what the 3 holes are for in the LC clock bracket?? (in a triangular shape) It puzzled me in the 80s and still does today. Are they for a particular market and Yamaha just drilled all of them?

They are for fitting the small bracket that attaches to the slotted hole on your headlight shell for vertical adjustment of the headlight. You occasionally see them advertised on eBay, but are easily made from a piece of thin gauge plate. steven.
