So after the DVLA have messed me around and HMRC failing to help, I thought bollocks to it! New frame. UK bike this time so no problems...Just a bit of work needed to get it where I want it. Drove 380 mile on Friday to pick this up. Apart from a numb bum from the drive I'm chuffed to bit with it. Another long drive to Stafford for the Classic show and a shopping list of various grinding discs, blades and various other stuff on Saturday meant I could crack on this morning with converting it to rising rate suspension and a few extra braces. So it begins! Removed the original footrest hanger mounts to make way for the new ones i use. At some point someone professionally fitted a belly pan...This needs sorting but no biggy. They need their tools confiscating Wiring loom lugs....de-lugged Steering lock, lock stops and wiring guide removed to make way for my own design Centre stand tube removed to make way for the new one Side stand spring mount punched out to be put in on the outside New bottom square section bottom tube New top tube to go in for the top shock mount New bracing That's it for today ;D

What was the ag with the non UK frame mate?
Got me worried that the frame im considering buying isnt a UK item now, it has a V5 thou..
Where abouts in Beds are you, i could do with some help(over the phone) with mine now and again, I do a motorcycle parts collection service in exchange!
Look forward to seeing the build come along.

if you have a UK V5 matching the numbers on the frame your ok. The problem is regestering a frame from another country if you dont have a stamped VAT form from HMRC.
