ive got a micron on my mk1 and it needs the seal but i have found that you sometimes have to make sure it is lined up over the exhaust port properly

just line it up properly with the gasket and use a bit of silicone from the hard ware shop. Works a treat.

as for it not pulling till it hits 6000rpm. thats the downside or using a micron.

i mean like NOT pulling, like stalling. splutters and stuff, should prob say just replaced crank bearing and seals replaced piston rings new spark plug, cleaned carb, replaced K&N with standard air box. new coil pack.

Does the exhaust need de coking. I had a blocked exhaust and could hold the bike still.

I think the exhaust is on it's last legs as it has a detable can that has been weled together and is a bit tatty but a new one is going to cost a fortune:(
