Hi guys, Well decided to give up sportsbikes for a while and go back to my youth! Bought this of a mate who had it in his garage not used for 4 years, new petrol, oil, plugs & battery, cleaned the carbs & it fired up 3rd kick! So now I knew it was a runner & sounds ok decided to go down the hybrid route! Bought virtually all the RGV kit in one go ( thanks Butchers! ) and got to work. Sent the swing arm to NK Racing for the mods & set about fitting the front end! Originally I was going to strip it down to the frame and start from there but now decided to get it built and running, see how it goes, tweak anything that needs doing then over next winter maybe strip it down & do it up cosmetically then! So at the moment the front end is complete bar the speedo cable & horns and now still waiting on the swing arm back from NK (overdue!! ) While I'm waiting i decided to give it a temp paint job. Just a quick rub down & rattle can with a few stickers for now! In the end I want to do an original LC paint job I think ( tho every time I look at other people's bikes I keep changing my mind!! So that's it so far, will try & put a couple of pictures up. As soon as I get the swing arm back I can carry on & will update on my progress! ;D Attachments:

Hello Phil916, I was thinking of sending a swingarm off the NK for modification, when you say overdue how long overdue and how long did Nigel originally quote you originally. cheers Rich.

Thanks for the comments guys! Norbo..... Yeah the paint was just a quick temp job with some stickers and pinstripe but came out quite well. I always liked the look of the motoGP & superbikes when they're preseason testing in plain carbon & white stickers! Hence the satin black with white!! ;D Rich...... It's been just over 6 weeks now but Nigel quoted me 3, no longer than 4 weeks! When I phoned him to see where it is he said he'd had a problem with his compressor & is waiting for a new one so I suppose that can't be helped but you know when you're itching to get on with something it seems to be taking forever! I'm sure it will come good soon then I can crack on!!

I've had a couple of things done by NK racing, and both have been around 2 weeks overdue. However DO NOT let this put you off. Not only does he know his onions the quality of his work is excellent. I guess because he is good he is inundated with work, so can easily take longer.
