You should make a website or an ebay ad with prices, probably get even more to do. Thats if you want the work....

Arrow, I have pump that had stopped working and blew the YPVS engine I picked up to rebuild to do in my LC. I have previously stripped it and not only had the part that is turned buy the cable seized but it also has a broken pin that is in the shaft to stop it rotating. Can you fit new pins or do you have a replacement or spare shaft so this one can be sorted and got working again.

Just got my pump back, jobs a good un. Had broken parts replaced within the cost. Will be going back on the engine, have had flow increased by 10% too, just to be safe. These pumps deliver the life blood of a 2 stroke engine and are all over 20 years old, older still on LCs and Aircooled RDs, we wernt able to get this service in the past and it was only a new pump to fix a problem with them. Now another part can be rebuilt at an economic price, should be part of every engine rebuild now! It will be for me, need to convince the owner of the resto to get his done now! Many thanks Gary.

Hi Guy's, I received a pm from a forum member who had a pump done by me and had some tiny air bubbles in the clear oil lines after bleeding the pump. This was my reply;
Hi xxxxx, this can be normal for a while especially on the lc, but no one new anything about it before clear pipes came along! Let me explain. Because of the orientation of the lc pump "nose down" when fitted to the bike, air can get trapped inside the "cylinder" where the piston goes in and out of. If your seeing the tiny bubbles its basically oil mixed with air. The big bubble is when the small bubbles join together. As long as its there you know the air is coming out and all will be well. Worth bleeding the pump again though, and best done when the motor is fully warmed up. Regards, Gary.
I text one other member this morning who had the same issue a good few weeks ago. He said the issue has long since gone. Hope this helps for anyone else seeing this temporary issue.
